♥; Stories to tell...
Yes! Hello ALL. I'm back with lots of updates. To be precise, 6 actually.
1st up is.. yes. As u can see from the picture,
i went to watch the match between Singapore & Vietnam last night with my family and relatives at Kallang Stadium for the AFF Suzuki Cup 2008.
Boy-oh-boy, read this:
"Vietnam break Singapore hearts at the National Stadium with 1-0 win in the second leg semi-final of the Suzuki Cup
Despite dominating the game from start to finish and throwing all they had at Vietnam, Singapore were unable to overcome the Vietnamese as they lost 0-1 in the second leg semi-final of the AFF Suzuki Cup. A goal from Nguyen Quang Hai in the 74th minute was enough to silence the 55,000 crowd that turned out at the National Stadium."
:( Sad right?
Checking out the atmosphere at the start of the game.
I forgot to take a shot of what all of us wore. Damn. Haha. But we were all in red! :)
I have to say, it was fun doing the KALLANG WAVE! woooohoooo. Throughout the match, i kinda shouted and shrieked. lol. We kept saying "we want goal, we want goal!"
And of course.. who could forget all the vulgarities that were heard in the stadium?
You know what i'm talking about..
when the horn goes "Tet tet, tet tet tet, tet tet, tet tet.....bu-toe!" Get it?
Geez. And we tried changing it to "bodoh" instead. haha.
When the match ended, you could feel the emotion around the crowd of people going out of the stadium. And that horn + vulgar language continued..and continued.. until...
there was a commotion near the gates of the stadium.. like seriously.
I saw it with my own eyes..i thought that there was gonna be a fight. I think alot of people got curious and ran towards the area! Causing a mini-jam. haha. Policemen were around..and i think the Vietnam supporters were trying to leave the place unharm. Some of the Singapore fans were really unhappy and they kept blowing their horns to THAT tune over and over again.
Oh wells...
My relatives and i then boarded the lorry..and guess what? Dunno what came over us, but as we were leaving the vicinity, one group of malay peeps waved to us, saying "Sayo-nara, sayo-nara". haha. and so we waved back "byeeeeeeeeeee". Then, somehow my bro got an idea..
And so.. we waved and literally shouted "BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! at the top of our lungs to every RANDOM group of passer-by / those leaving the stadium!! Even motorcyclists!! Hahahahaha. Some looked at us with a quizzical look on their faces and didn't respond, some smiled and waved, some laughed and waved and shouted back at us. Just imagine, from Kallang area all the way to almost like 5 bus stops away!
It was really really fun. I shouted til my voice was hoarse. And then, it was the expressway, felt the wind, and there was silence.
Before this was...
my cousin's wedding.
Sunday, 21 December 2008.
Izhar & Nur Sarah Chua. (yepp, a Chinese girl. She' 21, and he's 29.)
The pelamin.. and there was where i performed with Kina & Jarinah.
Us and our younger cousins.
My mum's in orange tudung.
Us getting ready for our next performance.
We performed Zapin Usik-Mengusik once, and Jawa twice.

The wedding cake from The Royals.

The day of the NIKAH. at 8pm on Sat, 20 Dec.

I regret to say that..just past half an hour after the ceremony..i began to feel slightly giddy and thought that i was going to throw up.. then i saw everything turning blurry and yellowish,
and then my vision was getting darker and darker, til i couldn't see anything at all, my head felt super heavy.... :(
all the way, i was kinda pinching my sister's arm, and i told her to call for my mum, and i vaguely remembered her asking me "ape?", i think my voice was super-low..i didn't have any energy..
and then i think my head was hung low, all the way "blind", i tried walking right.. i think i walked a few steps.. and i fell...into 1 of my cousin's arms.. i rmbr thinking "someone caught me".. and i hear people's voices calling for my parents... i still couldn't see anything and was feeling very giddy and couldn't stand on my own..felt people grabbing me and leading me to walk somewhere and then i was seated down on a chair..
my head was still hung low all the way..
and slowly..people were fanning me, and massaging my head and back.. and i was sweating.. my vision started to clear bit by bit..i didn't look up at all.. then i felt my tears dropping down my face.. i didn't know why that happened.. i wiped them away and finally.. looked up and around.. some people were looking in my direction. i blinked a few times and i could see again. from that moment onwards, i just sat there and took panadols and drank water.
:/ To be honest, i felt quite scared at that moment. I think i have low vitamin C or something, or maybe i have low blood pressure? i'm not sure..
This is NOT the first time that i felt faint or fainted or pitam or whatsoever.
The first time it happened..i still rmbr..i was in the mrt with my mum and sis..and i really fainted.. was unconscious for 5 minutes, my mum tried waking me up but i didn't budge at all. and NOBODY helped at all. But i vaguely rmbr an old man giving up his seat for me.
When i reached home that Saturday night, i sms-ed Ayg and told him about it and he was quite worried. Haiz. What a night.
