Hols are finally here. Today was the last day of the first term.

Pros: rest time, meet-ups?

Cons: CA tests are coming! :( I've got Quantitative Analysis, Financial & Management Accounting, and Marketing Research. Plus, GEMS - Quality Management's test on MST Week.

Homework: all of the modules (i think),and i even have RWPS Individual Report to complete!!!! Argh!

Study study study--- mugging here and there.. Urgh.

Sidetracking: I forgot to snap a shot of my team's Side window display on iPod nano! :( but it's still on display at the Retail Place.

Okay enough of that.

Oh! And i caught the finale of 'Making the Band 4' by Diddy.

I love the song 'Exclusive'.

I have to say, i was shocked when Diddy did not holler Donny's name.

But oh my, was i deliriously happy when Diddy said that Donny got a Solo Artist contract instead! :)

The white guy can sing, for goodness' sakes!

Note: Seems like i've been moving my body rhythmically to 'Zapin'. haha. One's with Ash, one's with Kina (i'm choreographing them a short dance item for the hip-hop dancers of ITE Clem-- no, i'm not teaching hiphop la! They are doing fusion, so i'm teaching tarian zapin, like duh! and another is with SP Wangsa. I've got school tarian this coming Wednesday. Yay! :) Yes, zapin as well.

So now, i've got THREE different choreography to remember in my head. No worries, i've got a good memory. :)

Upcoming: 1st June--- Kak Ika's baby boy's hair-cutting ceremony (eh,ni betol ke tak? majlis cukur rambut la. lol.)

♥; A Rush of Calmness

Mon, 19 May (Vesak Day) :

Hullo! Okays let me start!

Met Rach at Wisma Atria at around 3pm.

Searched for W.S. and there he was, in front of GAP.

We actually guessed his clothes right!

Right from black polo tee, black jeans and white shoes!

Typical, typical. ahahahahahas.

Anyways, we headed to Ngee Ann City & Taka. Window-shopped.

Then went to Cineleisure..and walked around while waiting for W.S.'s friend to arrive.

He finally arrived..and introductions began.

His name: Xander.

Wanna know how W.S. pronounced his name to the both of us?

"He's 'Centre'." and im like, hah??

:D lol.

Decided to catch a movie..the guys wanted 'Chocolate', it's about this Chinese woman who had special martial arts power or something.

But..i did not find it interesting..so guess what??

I chose, 'Over Her Dead Body'! :) hehe! (hint-hint: Eva Longoria)

At first,i thought that they would watch their own movie or something cos it started at the same time as ours..but no, they were fine with it. So the 4 of us got those tickets.

Meanwhile, i was silently hoping that the movie would be a great one. If not, i think they'd kill me. haha.

We then had an hour's time to idle around before the movie started so we set off for The Heeren. Sat outside Spinelli.

Guys bought their ice-blended mochas;

while Rach and I simply chilled.

While they were smoking..

we started stoning..haha.. nah, we chit-chatted..

and discussed W.S.'s look right in front of him-- gangster-ish or not?

Hahaha...and he kept denying.

Caught the movie, and it was.....

superb with a dash of laughter-and-kept bending forwards-cos-i-laughed-like-mad!
Should catch it! I give it 4 out of 5 nachos! :D

Speaking of nachos, no we didn't buy any.

Instead, we got sweet popcorn & ice lemon tee.

After that, headed for dinner. Made our way past somerset and so on.

Actually bumped into cousin Mira & her parents at a Malay foodstall.

But they claimed that the waiting time was so long.

So..

we went thru that particular building (in which i can't rmbr the name)..

and right smack at Koek Road..

Indian Muslim stall..

Cos W.S. was treating us..so Rachel and I had Briyani Rice(Chicken)! Yummy.

Actually, we shared the huge serving cos she wasn't that hungry.

We finished it okay! :P

W.S. ate Nasi Goreng Pattaya & Xander ate Mee Kway Teow Goreng.

(oh btw.. Xander is actually 23!)

Then went back to Ngee Ann City's giordano.

W.S. bought 2 polo tees.

Rach and I told him that the plain bright pink was nice (and still is!), so he got that! Plus, he got a yellow one too.

(Haha, for a guy who always wear dark-coloured clothes, i still can't believe that he was brave enough to trust us. But it's all good. Life's short, man. Don't be afraid to wear bright colours.)

I then went home with Rachel; but the guys went to hang out. It was fun, and thanks again for the treat!

What a day! :)

On Sun, 18 May.

Due to UCCD project,

Nana and I went to the Singapore Buddhist Youth Mission temple

at Clementi...

in the early morning..

We actually arrived at around 10am! haha.

and stayed there til 11.30am.. Can u believe it?

U better. :P

No worries, we visited the place cos we are doing on Buddhism.

Not more than that ehh!!

We borrowed "Taboo" last Friday at Moberly.

It was fun and hilarious at the same time.

I was in the same team as Kevin, and Rach was with WT.

It was our turn; my turn to guess.

Imagine, the word is 'Singapore Zoo'.

Kevin was giving me clues, of course, you can't say the taboo words.

He was like, "where are we?"

me: school? singapore poly?

him: yes, shorter?

me: singapore?

him: yes. okay that's the first word. second word is... not night safari?

me: zoo?

him: okay, put together!

me: erm.. (thinks hard) what was the word that i said just now??

*this scenario repeated for THREE times til i got it right!*

lol, i didn't know why i couldn't remember.. maybe it was the hot weather? hahaha.. Kevin was making me confuse as he kept repeating the same thing. Before that, he was babbling on and on about 'night safari', i think i even heard him say 'Malaysia'.

In the end, all of us laughed like mad!

and that's the view!

Anyways,at the end of the game,

Rach & WT got 59 points..

and my team got 56 points!! We lost by only 3 points! Damn. Haha.

It's okay! :)

--p.s.: tired tired tired. i am sick actually. down with a bad cold. (so what's new? haiz) took medicines, took my vitamin Cs, hoping to get well asap. I updated so late, and stayed up late, cos of uccd.. urgh. so many ongoing projects, so many deadlines. Till next time!

I'm guessing that i will be busy pretty soon. Aside from school work/projects that is.

I just join a new cca (if u guess right, you're clever!) , i haven't attend training yet, i'm a nervous wreck. :/

Besides that, I have to teach Ash additional dance steps for our future performance (hopefully all works out well). :) Have i mentioned that i changed some of the steps? And added new choreography? [Oh and Ash? I saw the stage,u saw the stage. Freaking spacious for the two of us. hahahahaha!]

PLUS, my cousin Kina, texted me saying that she needs me to choreograph a new dance (phew, only for one minute plus. Turned out that we did some steps on Sunday at Gran's. No,not in front of the relatives, but inside Mardhah's room. Yes, zapin, here we come.) For their performance at ITE Clem on 23 July. Whatever it is, the whole process and the end result must be fun. :) She said that it was for a group's Event Management module. (Hey, my ex-SM peeps, do y'all remember? :) hehe. Challenging but Damn Fun.)

RWPS is giving me headaches. Argh. Me & Nana doing on Buddhism for UCCD CA1 project. Due in Week 7. UCCD CA2 project- my team consists of: myself, Xiao Yan, Xiang Yi (Hip-hopper) & Yin Mei. We gotta do on Vietnam. Due on Week 14 or something. And, i think there's something up with MR but i think everyone's clueless.

Total.

Psycho.

Did i mention that there were alooooooot of students passing by the area?

Phew, lucky i don't really have 'stage'/'people' fright anymore.

Each time when i took a rest, Ash would be practicing her moves.. I notice something then..

Whenever any random stranger passed by just now, she would totally stop whatever she was doing right there and then, and pretended that nothing happened. Hehehehehe! :P

We started at around 2pm, and ended somewhat at 6.30pm. Aching arms and legs. :(

Rachel was with us for awhile; i even taught her some moves just for the fun of it! :)

*Let me test you tmr.* lol.

FMA was a total silent situation. And it was at 10. Goodness!

On the other hand, GEMS was a breeze! :) We only had to stay from 1-1.30pm!

Why?

Cos we had this mini tutorial (10%) to do, and it was open-book.

This was our shadowbox on Tues 6 May.

See that white shades in the middle? That's mine. :D

We printed out the background graphic in the Retail Studio. Wan Ting found that pic.--i like!

Lettering 'Colourful'- done by Wan Ting. (Cut out Styrofoam board & pasted printed coloured-letters on them.)

'Joy Of Clarity' -- we made use of styrofoam board (and left it white).

All of us painted (yes! painted!) the rainbow-coloured paper that morning.

In order for the poster paint to dry faster, we used my hair-dryer! haha! (Yeah, i had to bring it to school.)

♥; Bday Bash & Dancing Babes

Sat, 3 May:

I know the above pic is quite awhile back.. haha..

But we did not take any pics just now so ya!

She came over to my hse just now.

For what u might ask?

I taught her Malay Dance, yes! :D Hehehehe!

Right in my hallway.

Cos i have this huge mirror.

We even moved the furniture aside before she arrived.

*Yeah, that's better, more space.*

Basically, i started off with the basics.

So how are u feeling now, Ash? Any aches? :P

I already taught her some steps, and she even recorded me on her hp so that she could practice at home! *oh my* :)

Just now was a real blast.

I tuned up the volume of javanese/tarian songs and we... well.. did an impromptu dance!

wakakakaka!

By the end of the whole TWO AND A HALF HOURS,

i was sweating like hell.

But it was worth it. :)

Extra info:

SP has this new lunch time hour performance tingy at the Moberly.

Every Wed 12.15-12.45pm.

Any form of talent will do.

I have yet to contact the peeps-in-charge.

Haha.

But i plan to perform. I do not know the exact date yet, so pls hold on.

I think i need more dancers.

♥; 'Graphic. Colour story. & the List Goes On.'

Tues, 29 April:

This is my team's shadowbox. :)

(During Retail Communications.)

We were supposed to a visual merchandising on watches.

So there u go! Our hard work. haha.

Wan Ting and I made those clouds.
Let me tell you the story of our shadowbox.

Because Kevin's swatch watch is dark green, that led us to the army/soldier theme.

And so,we bought those soldier figurines at a good price.

The watch is coming down on the middle parachute-- centre of attention.

So all those soldiers are like 'marching' towards the watch. And, we even used sand! hehe:)

The green netting is like a jungle. Blue background, using A4 coloured papers--as the sky.

Oh man, we have to do another shadowbox this coming Tuesday! Wanna know what's our product?
