Hey all! i just got back from Indonesia yesterday.. :) We went to Batam.. My bro didn't tag along as he had work.. Before we went of, we had our lunch at Banquet (harbourfront) and i ate Tom Yam noodles.. yum-yum! :)

Arrived at Batam Centre at about 5.30pm (spore time), 4.30pm( indo time). We stayed over at Gloris Hotel.. Anyways, let me cut straight to where we went: those two shopping malls above, in and out of normal food eateries and shops and Mega Mall when we were gg home..

Oh, i did alot of shopping. hehee.. :) i bought a black bag, a pair of sandals, pencil eyeliner (cos it's only about 80cents s'pore money when i calculated!), 3 tops (green, grey with white&red hearts, and a muddy red colour with black retro-ish design), a white skirt (abt S$8,yes,i finally found it!!), long black leggings, and a pink shawl (S$5+) ! :) Most of the stuffs i bought were great bargains.

Oh yes, not forgetting the dozen scrumptious doughnuts and Iced Chocolate from Donuts & Coffee.. simply irresistable..

Well guess what? The trip was abit of a letdown. It was raining non-stop! :( We only managed to get into the Haunted House and rode the Rainbow. After that, it was pouring all the way. Finally, in a loooooong time, i ate at Burger King! hahahaha.. We went to Downtown East as everyone was really hungry..Oh wait! did i tell u that we received a free ticket each cos 3 rides were closed? hehee...

Before heading home, we walked abit at White Sands. All of us got a free taste of the Ben & Jerry's drink.. (i can't seem to remember what i drank.. haha!)

Last sunday, i went to study with ash, well sort of :) taught her abit of profit & loss as she was clueless.. teehee.. in the above pic, i 'borrowed' her specs for awhile.. hahahaha..

Well, right now, i am extremely extremely pissed off with my msn! i have already done alot alot alot of virus scans on my laptop, no virus was found! i already uninstall my msn! and then i shut down my laptop! and then i install a WHOLE NEW MSN.. thinking that my msn would be FINE, like normal! but nooooooo...... there it goes again, sending random people that stupid fcuking zipped folder message! urghhh... have to do something about it asap!

To all my msn peeps, please do ignore any messages from me that contains anything abt that zipped folder tingy okay.. :) im sorry, i did not send those on purpose.. i repeat, i did not send anything..

i shall kill that stupid random msg bug! this is just not my week.

This is a totally random pose. I don't even know what i wanna blog about. School was an extreme bore today. I mean,like seriously. The only fun thing was when i did some braids on Wan Ting's and Rachel's hair just to please myself.. hehehehe.. :) We stayed back for crs.. presentation's this coming Wed.

Oh man, and i got to hand in that CD inspirational story tingy by this Friday and it's supposed to be confidential.. Gawd! What inspirational story do i have?? *thinks hard*

Come to think of it,i've only got like 2 months left (til end of January) til year one ends....and there comes our super big hols, which is going to last for 2 and a half months! Urghhh.. exams are drawing nearer by the minute.. tak best uhh! :/

I'm here again.. :) Went out with mum, dad & dear little sis.. They set off to West Coast Park first without me, as Mairah wanted to play. I did not tag along, I was watching Hikmah 3. hehehe..

Then, dad called and i headed out of my crib to meet them at Paya Lebar mrt. I sat in the train all the way from Lakeside, listening to songs blasting loudly in my ears. haha.. I was glad that i did not fall asleep.

Went around the shops, tried to search for a short kebaya.. There was one.. and the size was "XS" but the cutting was damn big la! i was like, "What the hell! That's not even a standard "XS" size la, it's like a "M" or something!" It's true, i'm not exaggerating. Even mum agreed. Of course i did not buy it. And there i was thinking, "What the hell was the long train ride for?? Wasted my precious time.."

Then we headed to Bugis..it was about 6plus by then.. We were really hungry, so we ate at KFC. Then, we went to Bugis Street :) Walked around and i got one long white tank dress with pink designs($10) and one gray top ($10). Plus, we went further than usual and i got a green Lil Ms Tidy ($8.90) and Mairah got a purple Lil Ms Fickly (i thought the words were supposed to be "fickle"?). muahahahahahas..

Took the train, alighted at Chinese Garden and took the cab back home. :)

♥; a heart-warming day

Hello again! :) This is post is meant for Sat 1 Dec. I've been busy with the above. Today was the day that we went to marsiling road, and packed the food into the plastic bags.

Boy, if i'm not wrong, maybe each plastic bag was about 5+, 6kg? And so, each team had about 3-4 peeps. My team consisted of Rachel, Wan Ting & Candice. We were supposed to give the food to the needy families in person..our list : 9 units. Rachel and WT went their way, Candice and I went our way. Our list had 3 Malays and 1 Indian Muslim, so hey, it was up to me to speak while Candice helped to knock. :)

The owner of the first house that we went to was an Indian Muslim old man by the age of 88. He kept looking down at the red plastic bag and asked me what was inside. I felt pitiful cos he is partially blind, and he has a daughter who's mentally challenged. So i told him there was rice, a can of sardines, a can of baked beans, instant noodles and a can of condensed milk. All these needy families that we went to all had one thing in common : they had no income. Yes, im serious here.

Did i mention that each of us had to carry 2 plastic bags weighing about 10-12 kg in total? We were lucky there were lifts. We went to 3rd, 5th, 7th and 10th storeys. The alley ways were abit dark and I walked fast, holding those heavy bags in both hands while struggling to hold the list. And, i had to check for the unit number too.. The corridor was quite long. Seriously. We even had to walk from one end to the other at certain times.

As i talked to these family members, i realised something.. these surge of gratefulness and a part of me just felt emotional i guess.. I must remember that they are much more pitiful than others; learn to be grateful with what you have. After i completed the tasks, Candice and i went back to the centre below. As we sat in the room, i thought to myself, "it didn't matter how heavy the plastic bags were, even when i was sweating, what matters is that i had helped the needy in a certain way. it's not much, but it's something."

Every bit of kindness helps, so do an act of kindness, and u will feel a sense of happiness and satisfaction within you. :)

Oh, i wana end with this bit taken from Nora's : "I wanna make a tee that says 'Please don't talk to me in Mandarin. I'm Malay.' " lol. (I'm not racist btw.) it's like everyday or so that people think im Chinese- kinda-tingy. Just because of how i look. But it's okay, although it gets on my nerves at times. But hey, something different happened at fc6 the other day.

I was paying for my drink when the aunty said to me, "Wah, hen piao liang. U Malay right? Very pretty ah.." I just blushed and nodded and smiled and thought, "Yay, she knows im Malay". hahahaha..
