Anyways, we went to watch Mr & Miss Singapore Polytechnic 08/09, last Friday 21st Nov.

The time stated on the booklet was 5.30-9.30pm.

However, it dragged and dragged; i think it only started at 6.30pm and ended somewhere around 10.30pm.

But, kudos for the free goodie bags & cca points.

Anyways, we met Nad, Nas, Amirah & Sharifah at the nearby cafe. Waited for them to change and off we went!

[Ash and I were quite apprehensive about the whole thing, as we were worried that no one would wear retro...we were somewhat right..a little.. there weren't many peeps clad in those outfits. I felt like a misfit at that moment; someone from the 70s era; someone from the past; lost in time travel. haha. Anyways, we complained about the Best Dressed Retro award thingy, [the guy was fine though] for the girl. She was clad in a Bohemian dress la. Like what...?? And she won? I honestly think that people are confuse in differentiating between Retro & Boho. [Please refer to Ash's blog for more info about this.] lols. I somehow think that she might be my pri sch schmate, she looked familiar, and her name was Elly Hasfidah. Yup, should be her.

Moving on.... we waited for the lucky draw all the way, but no such luck uhh! haha. My no was 1547, and 1 of the 32 winners' no was 1557. How close was that?? Oh wells. Oh!! Sharifah won though! She won a PSP! Cool eyy?

The talent show-- i really enjoyed Aqilah's dance. And it was one of my fav songs la!! :)

"Chi Ke Boom" by Saloma. And to think that my mum & i mentioned that song the other day.

As you can see, we camwhored alot in the convention centre. :) :)

I swear my heart was beating so fast when it came to the announcement of the results!
And the winner is.. Aqilah!! Wooohooooooo! I went down near the stage to get her shot.
She was crying when i saw her on stage. Aww.. [sorry but i didn't take the shot properly; too many people crowding around, so it's blurry.] Once again, congrats!

After all of the fiasco ended, we went out of the convention centre, and took whole shots of ourselves. [thanks to ash's friend.]

Singapore Polytechnic, 3pm. :) :) :)
I assume there will be a huge crowd. I know that there are plenty of guests coming, and the press too. Heard that Channel 8 will be there.
Anyways, we have a Fashion Show, introducing the new line from Bossini, called YB [which is Youth/ Young].
There are 16 models in total; 8 guys & 8 gals.
I'm one of the models. :) hehehehe. The rest of my classmates are Kevin [guy], Xiao Yan[gal], Yin Mei[gal] and Jian Hui [guy]. Other models are from other retail classes; year Twos & Threes. We will have 3 make-up artistes coming down from Shiseido. Yay, no class tmr, but we have to come earlier to prepare and stuffs.
So anyone out there [besides Ash, lol] who wants to give your support? Do feel free to come down! :)
